Construction firm Owen‑Ames‑Kimball Company named financial executive Jo Durocher Florida Division Controller.

Durocher, as head of accounting services at O-A-K, will oversee accounts, monthly journals, pay applications, payroll and administrative tasks for the firm, which did $398 million in revenue in 2022. Durocher, according to her LinkedIn profile, was most recently vice president of accounting for the Solomon Foundation, a nonprofit church-based investment organization in Parker, Colorado.

"Jo has a robust background, including roles as both an accountant for a general contractor and an owner's representative for funding projects," says O-A-K Florida President Matthew Zwack. "Her experience covers diverse projects from $5 million ventures to massive $2 billion multi-campus hospitals. We are excited to have her join our leadership team."

Since joining Owen-Ames-Kimball, Durocher has worked on the $98 million Aubrey Rogers High School in Naples and the $46 million Amanecer Elementary School in Lehigh Acres. "O-A-K's team stays on point with their core values of choosing what's right every time, a can-do attitude, and a personal sense of responsibility. They are people who value other people," Durocher says in the statement. "These key factors make me proud to be part of the O-A-K team."

O-A-K's Florida operation is an affiliate of its parent company in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Florida operation has offices in Collier and Lee counties, and has provided general contracting, design-build and construction management services in Southwest Florida since 1982.
