Allegiant Air is adding three new routes to airports along the Gulf Coast as it grows its Florida presence. The flights will be “hyperseasonal” — running February through April — at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, Punta Gorda Airport and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.

"These new routes reflect the flexibility of our unique business model, allowing us to respond to demand and provide more options during peak leisure periods,” Allegiant Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells says in a statement.

The hyper-seasonal routes are designed to align with peak spring travel season, including spring breaks and vacation windows, the statement says.

Here are the new flights coming to the region from Feb. 13 through April 24, 2027:

  • SRQ will offer service to Providence, Rhode Island, via Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport (PVD).
  • PGD will provide service to Boston via Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
  • PIE will offer service to Boston via BOS.

In total, Allegiant announced nine new routes across Florida. Others include year-round service between Orlando International Airport and Cincinnati, Ohio, via Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport; seasonal service between Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and Grand Forks, North Dakota, via Grand Forks International Airport; and four hyperseasonal routes: SFB and BOS; Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and PVD; SFB and PVD; and FLL and Portsmouth, New Hampshire, via Portsmouth International Airport.

"We're excited to announce these new routes into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most," Wells says in a statement.

Based in Las Vegas, Allegiant connects small to mid-size cities with leisure destinations. It acquired Sun Country Airlines in May. Through Allegiant Air and Sun Country Airlines, the company serves about 22 million customers annually through passenger, charter and cargo operations. Combined, the airlines offer more than 650 routes serving nearly 175 cities throughout the U.S. and select international destinations. Allegiant posted nearly $2.55 billion in operating revenue in 2025.
