John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, one of largest brokerages in the region with more than $10 billion in total sales volume over the past two years, has named a trio of new office managing brokers.

The appointments follow the retirement of the company’s central office managing broker, Rod Mease. “Rod has been the respected leader of our Central office for 12 years and a trusted, approachable real estate resource throughout Southwest Florida for many years,” says Phil Wood, president and CEO of John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, in the release. “We will miss working with him daily, but we are excited for his next phase of life.”

Jennifer Reedy was named managing broker of the Isles of Capri and Marco Island offices, according to a statement.  Reedy was previously an assistant manager and assistant managing broker at the firm’s Fifth Avenue and Marco Island offices. She obtained her sales associate’s license in 2017 and joined John R. Wood Properties, working with the top producing agent until she transitioned to the office coordinator and agent support position for the Fifth Avenue office in 2018, the release states. She obtained her broker’s license in 2021. Reedy is also a board-certified behavior analyst with a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Skidmore College.

Ryan Bleggi was named managing broker of the company’s central office. Bleggi, the release states, was previously managing broker for the firm’s Fifth Avenue South, Marco Island and Isles of Capri offices. He’s a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and has experience in technology sales and consulting. Bleggi relocated to Naples in 2004 and partnered in a boutique real estate firm. He joined John R. Wood in 2016, the release states, and has been active in the Naples Area Board of Realtors and Florida Realtors Association.

Spencer Haynes was named managing broker of the firm’s Fifth Avenue office.

Haynes currently serves as broker for the Vineyards office and vice president of business development, a position he has held since 2019. A native of Decatur, Alabama, he began his real estate career in 1992 and has 31 years of service with John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate. Haynes’ wife and mother-in-law are both Realtors with John R. Wood Properties and members of its Hall of Fame, the release states, and his mother was also a sales agent and a manager for the company.

John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate, founded in 1958, is the oldest major real estate brokerage in Southwest Florida. Family owned and operated, it is consistently the No. 1 firm in market share in the Southwest Florida area that includes Collier and Lee counties. It has 750 agents and staff.
