TAMPA — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers plan to build a Ring of Honor Club and a Hall of Fame Club as part of a $100 million renovation to Raymond James Stadium, according to a statement released yesterday.

The clubs, which will be completed for the 2016 season, are premium seating concepts with air conditioning and all-inclusive food and drinks, according to the statement. The 9,500-square-foot VIP clubs will each have 240 seats.

“Members will enjoy the ultimate in comfort and convenience while ensuring they can attend every Buccaneers home game and additional events at Raymond James Stadium for one price,” Buccaneers COO Brian Ford says in the statement.

Pricing options to become a member of the new clubs were not disclosed in the statement.

The renovation to Raymond James Stadium, approved in December, is part of a larger effort in the city to land major sporting events. The city is already slated to host the 2017 College Football National Championship, and it's one of four finalists to host a Super Bowl in 2019 or 2020. A decision on that will come in May.
