Real estate development firm Kolter Urban has reached the top of its 24-story condominium tower in Estero, moving the 86-residence project closer to a planned mid-2027 completion.

The developer announced the topping out of The Island at West Bay Club Oct. 30. With the tower at its full structural height, construction manager Manhattan Construction Co. is now focused on finishing residences, common areas and amenities, according to a statement.

The project at 5100 Baybridge Blvd. will be the ninth and final residential complex within the 868-acre West Bay Club community, the release says. Prices begin at approximately $2.7 million and reach about $10 million for premium residences and penthouses, according to the project’s website.

Kolter announced the project’s groundbreaking in February 2025. The development extends the Delray Beach-based company’s condominium portfolio along Florida’s Gulf Coast, which includes ONE St. Petersburg, Saltaire in downtown St. Petersburg and Hyde Park House in Tampa.

The Island at West Bay Club promises residents broad, unobstructed views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico along with access to the existing country club community.

“With only four residences per floor, The Island offers an exceptional sense of privacy within a vibrant private country club community,” Brian Van Slyke, president of Kolter Urban’s Florida West Coast division, says in the statement.

Designed by GarciaStromberg, the tower features corner residences with wrap-around terraces and private, access-controlled elevators. Three- and four-bedroom-plus-den layouts range from approximately 3,300 to more than 6,270 square feet, according to the release. The building includes two penthouses.

Crews have been working on interior framing, windows, building systems and finishes as the structure has risen, the release says.

Amenities reserved for tower residents include a rooftop relaxation pool, spa, outdoor kitchen and wine bar, along with a separate pool deck featuring lap lanes and cabanas. Plans also call for a fitness center, clubroom, sports simulator lounge, two guest suites and a lobby staffed around the clock.

Premier Sotheby’s International Realty is handling sales.

Kolter Urban says it has sponsored more than $7.8 billion in completed and ongoing real estate projects across the Southeast, including more than $5 billion in active developments along Florida’s west coast.
