A gym with 18 facilities across Florida made its debut in the Southwest Florida market, opening a 19th location in Fort Myers. EoS Fitness recently began operating a newly built, 40,000-square-foot facility in the Shoppes at Pelican Preserve.
The full-service gym offers cardio and strength training equipment, group fitness classes and personal training options. It also contains technology like the Evolt 360 Body Composition Scanner, a machine that provides more than 40 measurements.
Among its top amenities since opening June 25, according to its website, are “smart strength” equipment that personalizes and gamifies members’ workouts to their individual goals, a cardio theater where members can watch big-screen movies while working out, “Booty Builder Lab” space that targets glutes as well as recovery offerings.
Wellness and recovery spaces at the Fort Myers EoS Fitness include Refresh, which provides a cold plunge, infrared sauna and hot tub; CyroLounge with loungers that target specific areas of the body to soothe aches and pains; The Tank, a recovery area that has Hyperice percussion massagers, Normatec compression boots and professional-grade stretch tables; and saunas.
The Fort Myers gym also has locker rooms, towel service and a Kids’ Club with on-site child care for those ages 2 to 12.
With memberships starting at $9.99 a month, EoS Fitness says it offers a high-value, low-price gym experience.
The growing Dallas-based company has 225 locations open or in development in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Southern California, Texas and Utah, according to a statement.
Around the region, EoS Fitness has gyms in Hudson, Land O’ Lakes, Lutz, Riverview, Sarasota and Tampa.
The Fort Myers EoS Fitness is at 10560 Colonial Blvd. and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It will host a grand opening at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 25, with demonstrations, guided tours, live music and complimentary refreshments. Hourly raffles will start at 10 a.m., with a grand prize drawing at noon.
