Naples-headquartered financial advisory firm Capital Wealth Advisors has opened an office in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is the second for the company in the Keystone State: Capital Wealth Advisors also opened an office in Johnstown last year.

The move strengthens the firm’s growing presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to a statement, which says it began adding several experienced professionals to its staff there in 2025.

Capital Wealth Advisors Managing Director of Private Wealth Management Benton Elliott will lead the office in Erie, north of Pittsburugh. Elliott specializes in high-net-worth clients, foundations and institutions. Before joining the firm in 2025, he was senior vice president - market executive at FNB Wealth Management.

The Erie office will offer services including wealth advisory, financial planning, estate and legacy planning and risk management.

“We are extremely happy to open our doors in the landmark Colony Plaza of Erie, which represents a key market for us strategically within the greater Mid-Atlantic region,” Capital Wealth Advisors President, CEO and Managing Partner William N. Beynon says in a statement.

Capital Wealth Advisors serves high-net-worth families and entrepreneurs through wealth advisory, risk management and estate planning services. The firm, which employs more than 70 staff, had about $4.5 billion in assets under management as of March 1.

Founded in 2004, Capital Wealth Advisors now has five offices — in Naples; Erie and Johnstown; and Charlotte and Cary, North Carolina.

Its footprint is not the only area of growth for the firm. Recently, business publication Inc. put Capital Wealth Advisors on its list of the fastest-growing companies in the Southeast based on revenue, after the firm posted 53% revenue growth from 2022 to 2024.
