Nonprofit names board members

FORT MYERS — Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida, an organization that hosts programs about work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy for kindergarten through 12th grade students, has elected a new board of directors.

The board members will serve through 2018, according to a press release. Pavese Law Firm partner Christina Harris Schwinn will be the chair; Wells Fargo Senior Vice President Curt Todd will be a vice-chair; Scott Fischer Enterprises CEO Scott Fischer will be a vice-chair; Cushman & Wakefield Commercial Property Southwest Florida CEO and principal broker Gary Tasman is the past chair, Consolidated Cleaners Inc. President Robert Lyons will be the treasurer and Brown & Brown Benefits Vice President of Business Development Carleton Case is member at large.

The Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida board also includes PBS Contractors owner Russell Budd; BMO Harris Bank Vice President Andy Buschle; Collier County Public Schools Secondary Programs Director Beth Coryell; Naples Air Inc. Vice President and co-owner Catherine Fay; IberiaBank Vice President and Branch Group Manager of Lee County Sean Friend; Florida Gulf Coast University Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurship Sandra Kauanui; Strategic HR Services human resources professional Nancy Korista; Global HR Research President and CEO Brandon Phillips; Comcast Spotlight General Manager of West Florida John Ryan; William Scott Initiatives President and CEO William Scott; and Florida Gulf Coast University's Lutgert College of Business Florida Small Business Development Center Assistant Director Suzanne Specht.
