Animal hospital founder gives up ownership

SARASOTA — Dr. Anne Chauvet, founder of Sarasota-based Critical Vet Care, has given up ownership of the animal hospital.

Matthew Lender, an attorney and CPA, purchased the 24-hour emergency and specialty clinic, at 4937 S. Tamiami Trail, a statement says. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

“Dr. Chauvet, Sharon Brenneman and the team have built an exceptional emergency and specialty hospital,” Lender says in the statement. “I am impressed with their compassion and dedication to providing a high level of care and service, and I look forward to furthering those fundamental objectives while increasing the hospital's specialties.”
