NAPLES — Tin City Waterfront Shops in Naples reopened today after damage from Hurricane Irma closed the site.
According to a press release, marine and environmental consulting firm Turrell, Hall & Associates Inc. led emergency repairs efforts needed to reopen Tin City. The restoration team also included Existing Structures Engineering Inc., Toscana Homes, Florida Marine Construction Inc., Seascape Builders, property manager Filippo Mastrocola, Ram Jack, Coastline Construction and the City of Naples Building Department.
“We are proud to be partners with Tin City and look forward to the future restoration project,” says Harry Julian, owner of water attraction company Pure Florida in a statement. “We plan to keep all our cruises and fishing charters operational during the restoration process and will work alongside the restoration team to ensure our guests have the best experience possible during their visit.”
The reopening will be marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with local dignitaries and a presentation on restoration efforts. Restoration will continue over the coming months.
Tin City includes over 30 boutiques and two waterfront restaurants.
