Foundation lures college official for VP post

NAPLES — The Community Foundation of Collier County named Lindsey Touchette vice president of development.

Her primary role is to lead the foundation's development efforts, including fundraising, community philanthropic partnerships and constituent relations, according to a statement.

Touchette has more than 12 years in fundraising and management experience. She began her advancement career at her alma mater, Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers. At FGCU, among other projects, she served on a development team that successfully raised more than $125 million in the first university-wide fundraising campaign, the release adds. She spent nearly eight years as director of alumni relations & annual giving and was executive director of the Alumni Association for FGCU. Most recently, Touchette was director of major gifts at FGCU.

“We are so happy to have Lindsey join our team,” foundation President and CEO Eileen Connolly-Keesler says in the statement. “Her fundraising and development experience will further enhance our long-term strategy to engage our donors to meet Collier County's changing needs.”

The Community Foundation of Collier County is a tax-exempt, public, charitable organization established in 1985. It manages more than 670 funds, collaborates with more than 400 nonprofits, holds over $150 million in assets and has distributed nearly $112 million in grants to nonprofit organizations.
