SARASOTA — The inaugural flight on Allegiant Air from Syracuse, N.Y., to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is scheduled for Wednesday, April 3.
The flight, according to a press release, will come from Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
Sarasota Bradenton International Airport officials will also mark the first Allegiant departure to Harrisburg International Airport in Harrisburg, Pa., the same day.
In November, Allegiant announced nine new nonstop routes to Sarasota-Bradenton via the airport: Asheville, N.C.; Baltimore; Grand Rapids, Mich.; Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; Harrisburg; Nashville; Richmond, Va.; and Syracuse.
