Manatee County label manufacturing company acquired

Nadco Tapes & Labels, a Manatee County-based manufacturer of custom tapes, labels and identification products, has been acquired. JBC Technologies, which specializes in precision die-cutting and is headquartered in North Ridgeville, Ohio, purchased the tape and label company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“Nadco has built an outstanding reputation by delivering quality products and responsive service to its customers,” JBC Technologies CEO Todd Wright says in a statement. “By combining our organizations, we can offer customers greater access to technical expertise, expanded manufacturing capabilities and a broader range of solutions, all while maintaining the high level of service and responsiveness they expect.”

Nadco's expertise in flexographic printing, specialty tape converting, advanced digital printing and labels will complement JBC Technologies’ vertically integrated platform for converting rolls of flexible materials into custom die-cut parts. The combined organization will be able to support more converting capabilities, including printed components for medical devices and consumer wearables, according to the statement.

JBC Technologies plans to continue operations at the Manatee County facility, at 2240 72nd Terrace E. near the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The 35,000-square-foot facility will serve as a “critical Southeast manufacturing hub for the combined organization,” according to the statement.
