A 40-acre parcel on State Road 62 in Parrish is up for sale.

The property, according to the listing from Saunders Commercial in Lakeland, is carved out of an assemblage that excludes the Gamble Creek wetland corridor. “The acreage you're buying is the acreage you can build on,” the firm says in the listing.

Saunders does not disclose how much its being sold for, asking those interested to call for a price.

The firm says the property is currently zoned agricultural with a UF-3 future land use designation that supports residential rezoning. There is, it says, a previously engineered preliminary site plan for a single-family subdivision.

According to Manatee County records the property at 14971 State Road 62 is currently owned by Gamble Creek Properties and totals 107.28 acres. The county records do not include previous sales data.

Saunders’ Jerrod Parker and Ryan McGimsey are the listing agents.
