As drinkware manufacturer Tervis moves into its second year of operations since being acquired in the summer of 2025, one link to the company’s 80-year history remains intact: Former third-generation owner Rogan Donelly and former CEO Hosana Fieber continue to own the lone Tervis brick-and-mortar location.
The store, at 928 South Tamiami Trail in Osprey, is something of a south Sarasota County landmark and was company-owned for decades. But when an investor group under the name JV2 Innovative Products LLC acquired Tervis, then based in Venice, Aug. 12, 2025, the plan was to shutter all of the company’s retail stores.

Donelly and Fieber worked out a deal to acquire the Osprey store when the company was sold. It was a move born both in business and nostalgia. The Tervis brand had been part of the Donelly family for 75 years when JV2 bought it, and Fieber had held leadership positions at the company since 2009, culminating in being named CEO in October 2023. “Rogan and I didn’t feel right about losing that store,” Fieber says. “It was part of our brand for generations and we didn’t want to just let it shut down.”
Fieber, in a late October interview, says she and Donelly are active in store operations. With a day job now as COO of Sarasota law firm Williams Parker, Fieber handles most of the social media, payroll and back office tasks for the store, while Donelly handles some deliveries and other work.
The store’s primary products are Tervis tumblers, mugs, water bottles and accessories, but it’s essentially a reseller — it’s not owned or otherwise connected to the new owners, which moved Tervis production to Manatee County from Venice after the company sale. The shop, open during the Holiday season from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, also accepts warranty returns of Tervis products, under procedures set by the company.

Fieber says as tourist and holiday gift-giving season approaches, she is pitching the Tervis store as both a spot to buy some uniquely Florida gifts and have fun while doing it, with the create-your-own Tervis machine and lab. “This is really an experience,” she says. “It’s a place where you can create a memory.”
