A company specializing in commercial and industrial door repair and maintenance has opened a service center in Sarasota that will serve areas from Bradenton to Fort Myers. The Vortex Doors service center is at 6300 Tower Lane, #7, off Palmer Boulevard near Fruitville Road.

Vortex Doors provides commercial door repair, industrial door maintenance, loading dock equipment service and emergency door repair. Its services are available to commercial and industrial facilities, such as warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, retail properties, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and commercial office buildings.

Spanning 1,600 square feet, the Sarasota service center is the satellite office for the Lakeland service center, Branch Manager Taidin Castro says in an email responding to questions from the Business Observer. The company plans to open at least two more service centers in the coming year, Castro adds.

Vortex Doors is headquartered in Irvine, California. Founded in 1937, the company has more than 80 service centers nationwide, including seven in the Sunshine State. In addition to the new Sarasota service center, others in Florida are in Tampa, Lakeland, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Orlando and Miami.

“Florida continues to experience tremendous growth in industrial and commercial development, making dependable door and dock systems more important than ever,” Vortex Doors Southeast Regional Vice President Art Vold says in a statement. “Our Sarasota service center allows us to deliver faster response times, enhanced proactive maintenance support and expert repair services to businesses throughout the Gulf Coast region.”
