The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce has launched an initiative to support what it calls “ the smallest but most foundational businesses in Collier County.”

Dubbed the Micro Business Council, the program is specifically for micro-enterprises with one to 10 employees, the chamber says in a statement.

Unlike the Chamber’s Small Business Council, which primarily serves in an advisory capacity to the organization, the Micro Business Council is a hands-on support network focused on the business owners themselves, the chamber says. These are made up of mostly solopreneurs, startups, home-based businesses, mobile service providers and early-stage ventures across industries. Members will engage in monthly learning, problem-solving and peer-to-peer connection designed to strengthen business operations, expand visibility and foster collective growth.

“The Micro Business Council recognizes that our smallest businesses are often doing the hardest work with the fewest resources,” Greater Naples Chamber President and CEO Kristina Park says in the release.

The Micro Business Council is an included benefit available across all Greater Naples Chamber membership levels. Sue Ryan, founder of Sue Ryan Solutions and an internationally recognized speaker, change strategist, author and executive coach and Sue Kisiday, founder of SmartWays Marketing Group, are spearheading the council.
