A Sarasota-based dental service organization has acquired a dental clinic in Pinellas County. VIP Dental Center of Palm Harbor is now part of Parkview Dental Partners. The organization has 25 practices in southwest Florida, including one in Sarasota and another in St. Petersburg that it acquired in February.
Located on US Highway 19, VIP Dental Center is open seven days a week and offers extended hours, including same-day and emergency appointments. Parkview Dental Partners plans to continue this approach while supporting the practice’s cosmetic and comprehensive restorative services.
“VIP Dental represents one of the larger, high-volume practices in Parkview Dental's network, further strengthening the organization's ability to support practices with significant patient demand and operational complexity,” Parkview Dental Partners CEO Rene Sauerteig says in a statement. "The practice has built an outstanding reputation in the Palm Harbor community, and we are excited to partner with their team as we continue to expand our presence along Florida's Gulf Coast.”
Founded by dentists, Parkview Dental Partners is a dental growth and management partnership that provides services like insurance and billing, HR, practice management and marketing. According to its website, its mission is to support dentists dedicated to providing clinically excellent care and patient experiences while the organization provides the highest level of operational support and opportunities for professional growth.
Parkview Dental Partners is supported by Cathay Capital, a global private equity and venture capital investment firm that helps middle-market health care, technology and consumer companies navigate opportunities for growth. It manages more than $5.5 billion in assets.
