While some national retailers and restaurant chains have spent the first few months of the year announcing closings, one Pasco County mall is growing its tenant roster.

The Shops at Wiregrass, the 800,000-square-foot open-air shopping center in Wesley Chapel, announced Wednesday it was adding several new retailers and eateries and says several existing ones have expanded.

The list of new arrivals includes national brands such as Lululemon and Kendra Scott.

Bringing in the new names comes after the center underwent a “refresh” last year that transformed Center Court between Paseo Drive and Piazza Avenue, landscaping, an enhanced fountain, large shaded structures, updated lighting and new seating areas.

The pedestrian-friendly center is on State Road 56 off of Interstate 75 in Wesley Chapel. It was built in 2008 and is owned by the Dallas real estate investment firm TriGate Capital, which paid $70.5 million for it May 2023 .

Its anchor tenants are Macy’s, Dillard’s and JCPenney and its roster of retailers and eateries includes Red Robin, Barnes & Noble, Torrid, Hollister, Hot Topic, Pottery Barn and Noble Crust.

Here is a list of the tenants that are coming or have expanded.

  • Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine: The Turkish restaurant is opening this summer on Paseo Drive. It is the restaurant’s third location in the market.
  • Face Foundrié: The facial bar owned by mother and daughter Brenda and Elle Vansteenburg is opening April 22.
  • Kendra Scott: A jewelry and lifestyle store that’s coming soon. It will be the company’s second store in the Tampa market.
  • Lululemon: A sportswear retailer that’s opening this summer across from Anthropologie. It’s the chain’s third store in the Tampa market.
  • Sweet Paris Creperie & Café: A restaurant that is coming soon in a space adjacent to the Center Court. It is the chain’s first Tampa area location and its fourth in Florida. The other three are in Miami.
  • Monster Games: The preowned video game and accessories retailer has been in a temporary space at the mall “for almost a decade.” It is moving into a new permanent location May 1.
  • Nikki’s Glitz & Glam Boutique: A shop specializing in formal wear for prom, homecoming, quinceañeras, weddings and tuxedo rentals has been in a temporary location since 2019. It has moved into an upgrades space that’s 40% larger.
