Pasco County-based brewery Thirsty Buffalo Brewing Co. has created a sister company to help bring new drink ideas to life, the company announced Thursday.
Craftek Beverages is a family-run beverage co-packer that will operate out of Thirsty Buffalo’s 8,000-square-foot brew factory in Odessa, the company says in an announcement. Craftek has already secured several new contracts, officials say, ranging from THC and CBD seltzers to energy drinks and wellness beverages.
According to its owners, the goal is for Craftek to become an incubator for small businesses to test, refine and scale products without barriers to entry that come with traditional production. The new company will offer low minimum order quantities, allow for custom formulations and provide consulting support to both beverage startups and established brands looking to innovate.
