A new housing development is readying for its grand opening this week in north Lakeland.

Fulton Meadows, the newest community from Texas-based LGI Homes, will host a grand opening celebration Saturday, Nov. 22, according to a release — allowing potential buyers to tour the new community and secure “special grand opening pricing.”

Located off Highway 98 at 7590 Green Fern Drive, Fulton Meadows brings 210 new single-family homes to the city of Lakeland, Polk County property records show.

The new community boasts convenient access to Interstate 4 and downtown Lakeland, and site plans include a community park, playground and picnic area.

Fulton Meadows offers “small-town comfort with city connectivity,” the release states, with five different floor plans ranging in size from 1,032 square feet to 1,981 square feet and two to four bedrooms.

Prices start from $299,900, or $1,369 per month, according to the builder’s website.

Each home in Fulton Meadows has a professionally landscaped front yard and features the “LGI Homes’ CompleteHome package” of upgraded amenities at no additional cost, the release states. These features include energy-efficient Whirlpool appliances, granite countertops, 36-inch upper wood cabinetry with crown molding, programmable thermostats, low-energy vinyl windows, and Wi-Fi-enabled garage door openers.

The new community is one of at least 20 developments built by LGI Homes across the state, with communities largely centered in the Orlando/Kissimmee area and Hillsborough and Polk counties.

Fulton Meadows is at least the seventh LGI Homes community in Polk County, property records show. Other communities selling throughout the region include Peach Crossings in Winter Haven, Reunion Village in Reunion, Gum Lake Preserve in Lake Alfred, scattered lot homes throughout Poinciana, Noah Estates at Tuscany Preserve in Poinciana, and Sol Vista in Dundee.
