300-unit apartment community opens in Palmetto

An apartment home community in Palmetto recently welcomed its first tenants. Stafford at Artisan Lakes began leasing May 1, according to The Collier Cos., which is managing the property.

Located at 6210 Terra Lago Circle, the community features amenities including a pickleball court; a saltwater pool; a pool pavilion with grills, fireplace and TV; a fitness center; a dog park; and executive work suites.

Apartments come with stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops and screened-in patios. Some provide lake views and private backyards. The community also has its own private walking trail.

Stafford at Artisan Lakes offers one- and two-bedroom floor plans, which start at $1,599 a month.

The Collier Cos, based in Gainesville, is a multifamily housing management and real estate development company with a portfolio including more than 40 apartment communities in Florida and two in Georgia. It also has a handful of apartments in development, including Alon in Sarasota, Verve in Wesley Chapel and Monarch in Fort Myers.
