Coconut Point is, again, adding to its retail roster.
The Estero open-air mall just announced a list of new tenants that are scheduled to open throughout the year.
The headliner is Nordstrom Rack, the off-price retail division of Seattle retailer Nordstrom. The chain currently operates six Nordstrom stores in the state and 19 Nordstrom Racks.
In addition to the Coconut Point store, there are plans for one to open in Lakeland later this year.
The mall also announced that Laura Jacobs Bridal is moving into new, larger location across from Pandora and that Talbots will move into a new space next to LOFT on Fashion Drive. Both are expected to open in the summer, according to a statement.
Coconut Point is off of Interstate 75, just south of Corkscrew Road on U.S. Highway 41. Its tenant mix includes about 110 shops and restaurants including Dillard’s Barnes & Noble, Target, Apple Store and Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
It is owned by the Simon Property Group which also owns Ellenton Premium Outlets in Manatee County and Tampa Premium Outlets in Pasco County. Those are among the 194 mall and outlet properties, including 22 in Florida, the company owns across the U.S
