A Tampa woman who made millions as an OnlyFans content creator has been arrested after allegedly filing a false tax return and failing to pay at least $1.69 million in federal income tax.

Kylie Leia Perez, 30, was indicted July 22 and arrested Aug. 14 on one count of filing a false tax return and four counts of failing to pay income tax. If convicted on all counts, Perez faces a maximum penalty of seven years in federal prison. She was released after posting a $50,000 bond.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, Perez earned more than $5.4 million in four years on the subscription-based social media platform OnlyFans, where she shared content with paying subscribers under the name “Natalie Monroe.”

However, prosecutors say Perez avoided paying taxes on her earnings from 2019 through 2023. Instead, authorities contend she filed a false tax return in 2019 and owes the IRS at least $1.69 million in back taxes from 2020 through 2023.

According to the indictment, Perez earned more than $1.6 million from her OnlyFans account in 2020 but neglected to pay the $498,549 due to the IRS. From 2021 to 2023, Perez earned a taxable income from the website ranging from $602,503 a year t  $2,130,898 a year, the indictment says.

OnlyFans allows creators to monetize photos, videos, live streams and other content by charging subscription fees and earning tips from viewers. While the website is known for its adult content, it also says it hosts content creators like musicians, artists and fitness experts. The indictment does not specify what kind of content Perez made.
