Construction firm builds new apartment complex

The Sandpiper Place community consists of four residential buildings with 92 two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments along with a separate clubhouse facility.

BRADENTON — NDC Construction Co. is amid construction on Sandpiper Place Apartments, a new Blue Sky Communities attainable housing project at 4605 26th St. W. in Bradenton.

The Sandpiper Place community consists of four residential buildings with 92 two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments along with a separate clubhouse facility, according to a press release. NDC Construction crews initially broke ground in early May. The project has an expected completion date of spring 2021, the release adds. 

NDC Construction Co. is working closely with the owner and the architect, Architectonics Studio Inc. on the project. 

NDC Construction Co. is headquartered in Bradenton and provides construction management services to commercial markets. Since 1970, the company has completed projects including the construction of the Bradenton City Centre Garage, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bradenton Downtown/Riverfront, Manatee Performing Arts Center, the Riverwalk, more than 4,000 residential homes, apartments and assisted living units, commercial office and specialty sports and entertainment buildings.
