TAMPA — BKS Partners, a national insurance brokerage and risk management company affiliated with BRP Group Inc., has named Jennifer Berry and Frank Baker partners.
The appointments, according to a press release, represent promotions for Berry and Frank, both of whom joined the Tampa-based firm in 2006 as founding members. Berry specializes in insurance solutions for luxury yacht owners.
“Jenn’s decision to join our nascent entrepreneurial dream as a founding colleague and an early pioneer of our private risk and marine forays allowed us to forge a powerful presence in serving the complex insurance and risk management needs of affluent households,” BKS Founding Partner Lowry Baldwin states in the release. “Her vivacious personality, interpersonal acumen, articulate delivery, subject matter mastery and overall professional competency exemplify the attributes that serve to differentiate Jenn and our brand in the world of personal insurance.”
Baker, the release states, played a key role in forging a joint venture with Galati Marine, a leading boat dealer, and has strengthened the firm’s relationships with real estate firms and financial institutions, as well as clients in the health care, maritime and hospitality industries.
“Frank took a leap of faith to join our firm in its infancy, never looking back as he cast an indelible impression on our colleagues and our journey through his pursuit of excellence and mastery,” Baldwin states in the release. “He successfully demonstrated that you can combine a recreational passion with a professional avocation by helping to form, lead and grow our BKS marine practice.”
