Assisted-living facility development and management firm Autumn Senior Living has broken ground on three new facilities in the region.

The new projects, what the company calls I-Lite Assisted Living and Memory Care communities, are in Sarasota, Brandon and the Westchase neighborhood of Tampa, according to a statement. The projects, worth a combined $100 million in capital investments, will bring nearly 400 senior residences to the region.

“Residents live the independent life they love with the desired services brought to them in the community,” Autumn CEO Jim Soper says in the statement. “We'll have great restaurants and cafes. The restaurants will serve delicious old time favorites, like beef tenderloin, and fabulous, healthy choices, including Mediterranean and gluten-free menus.”

The three communities are expected to be completed in early 2018.

The senior management team at Autumn Senior Living has managed 45 properties totaling 3,600 residences over the last four decades.
