Talk about a working vacation: More than half the respondents in a new PNC Bank survey say they would choose either Warren Buffett or Mark Zuckerberg as the top business people to partner up with on a vacation.
Buffett, with 28%, edged out Zuckerberg, who had 26% in the total survey. But specifically among millennials, the 85-year-old Oracle of Omaha was passed up for a tech-infused crowd.
In the younger segment, 36% picked Zuckerberg, the Facebook co-founder; 28% chose Amazon founder Jeff Bezos; 27% selected Larry Page with Google; and 21% went with Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Since getting to this vacation will likely require a plane ride, the online survey next asked people whom, among several world leaders, they would like to sit next to on a long flight?
President Barack Obama won that question decisively, with 44% overall and 56% among respondents ages 25-34. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau led the second wave, at 18%, followed by British Prime Minister David Cameron at 17% and German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at 15% each.
Then there are some people who just want a vacation. Nearly one in three respondents, 31%, wouldn't want to be joined on vacation by any business leader on the list and 29% would forgo sitting next to any world leader on a flight.
