NAPLES — Trustees of the Naples Children & Education Foundation, founders of the Naples Winter Wine Festival, gave out $7.4 million in grants on Monday to charities that serve Collier County's underprivileged children.

Grants to 24 charitable organizations ranged from $25,000 for St. Matt's Kids Camps to $1 million for the Boys & Girls Club of Collier County.

Four charitable organizations received grants for the first time: Golisano Children's Museum of Naples, Legal Aid for Collier Kids, Cal Ripken Senior Foundation and Naples Botanical Garden.

Since its founding in 2000, the foundation has raised $107 million, making it the most successful charity wine auction in the world. The three-day wine festival is held in Naples every year in late January.
