Antonucci is Lee Memorial COO

FORT MYERS -- Dr. Lawrence Antonucci was named the sole chief operating officer for Lee Memorial Health System this week by LMHS President Jim Nathan.

Antonucci had been splitting COO duties with John Wiest. But Wiest has left Lee Memorial to rejoin PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he worked before joining the Fort Myers health care organization in 2000.

Antonucci joined the Lee Memorial system in 2007, as chief administrative officer for Cape Coral Hospital. He transitioned into the co-COO role in 2009.
