21st Century Oncology to expand

FORT MYERS — 21st Century Oncology will relocate one of its billing and collections facilities from another state to Fort Myers. The Fort Myers Regional Partnership approved $140,000 in incentives to attract the firm's business.

Those monies will be combined with state funds to create a total incentive pool of $300,000 for 21st Century Oncology, a release explained.

“Certain Nevada and Kentucky locations were also considered for relocation,” said 21st Century treasurer Jeffery Pakrosnis. “However, the resources, business environment and incentives available in Lee County and the State of Florida made it the logical and beneficial choice for our strategic growth plans.”
