Oasis units sell for $36.7M

FORT MYERS — Oasis Associates LLC sold 224 units in Tower II of Oasis Condominium to Lofton Island Holdings LLP for $36.7 million. Lofton Island is based in Canada.

The property was originally developed by The Related Group, which is led by President and CEO Jorge Perez. Perez was profiled in a Business Review feature in November.

“Oasis is a high quality property and fits well with our Florida acquisition strategy,” said Jim Spatz, a partner at Lofton Island. The firm also owns The Place at Channelside in Tampa, The Sage in St. Petersburg, and Downtown Dadeland in Miami.
