Stellar Development hired for Davie church project

Lakewood Ranch-based Stellar Development Inc. was selected to build the Norwegian Seamen's Church and Scandinavian Center in Davie. The project includes the demolition of four existing buildings, construction of a community center and rectory building and renovations and additions to the existing chapel.

The two-story rectory will feature three townhomes with a guest suite and a three-car garage.

The $3.1 million project will include 15,500 square feet of new construction. It's scheduled to be completed in May.
