J.E. Charlotte Construction starts USF North Port space

J.E. Charlotte Construction started building the 6,400-square-foot USF Sarasota-Manatee campus in North Port. Debbie Graves of Fleischman-Garcia Architecture in Sarasota designed the interior.

The USF portion of the building, on U.S 41, will be completed before classes begin in the fall. It is expected to accommodate more than 500 students.

North Port has agreed to provide annual incentive dollars for the first five years to USF. The city also waived impact fees and building permit fees.
