Prominent national author, keynote speaker joins area firm’s board

NAPLES — Heather Monahan, a best-selling author and keynote speaker on women’s empowerment, entrepreneurs and other topics, has been named to the board of health care technology firm HealthLynked Corp. Monahan also spent nearly 15 years with Naples-based radio station and media firm Beasley Media Group, including a recent stint as chief revenue officer.

Naples-based HealthLynked, which uses a cloud-based software platform to link patients with providers, now has a five-member board, including three independent directors, according to a statement.
