LAKEWOOD RANCH — Master-planned community developer Neal Land & Neighborhoods is opening a new neighborhood at North River Ranch in Parrish.

The new neighborhood, Riverfield, marks continued growth and expansion of the multi-phase development, according to a press release.

The neighborhood is south of Moccasin Wallow Road and Fort Hamer Road. It will include three- and four-bedroom single-family homes and townhomes by homebuilders David Weekley Homes and Neal Communities. Builders will release homesites for sale over phases, with early anticipated average home sale prices for the initial phase in the mid-$200s.

David Weekley Homes will offer single-family homes from 1,722 to 2,858 square feet. Model construction is scheduled to begin within the next 30 days, with completion anticipated for late October. Pricing will follow, the release states.

Neal Communities is bringing a new townhome design to North River Ranch. The two-story, three-bedroom designs will be priced from the high $190s. The first units and model are currently under construction, with completion expected in late December.

“As our cycle of growth continues to expand, we’re excited to deliver on our vision to create a place with a foundation for traditional neighborhood values, while demonstrating our strategy to drive economic growth, area development and improvement to the local community,” says John Neal, president of Neal Land & Neighborhoods, in the statement.

Neal Land & Neighborhoods currently owns or controls several thousand acres of land entitled for more than 9,000 future residential homes and the supporting mixed-use commercial and retail.
