Part of Tampa-based Bloomin’ Brands’ portfolio of restaurants, Aussie Grill’s menu of burgers, sandwiches and salads is inspired by sister brand Outback Steakhouse. The Lutz restaurant, at 25340 Sierra Center Blvd., will offer reduced-capacity dine-in service in accordance with state COVID-19 guidelines, as well as drive-thru, pick-up and delivery service, the latter available via Uber Eats and DoorDash.

The first two Aussie Grill locations opened in January 2019 in Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong. The brand was originally developed primarily for international growth but has caught on domestically.

Based in Tampa, Bloomin’ Brands (NASDAQ: BLMN) is the parent company of Outback Steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. The company reported $4.14 billion in gross revenue in 2019, up from $4.13 billion in 2018.
