The Founders Club, Sarasota, has continued to see strong sales and member momentum including 13 lot sales since January that amounted to nearly $2.75 million.

The club, located east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, features luxury home builders London Bay, AR Homes, John Cannon Homes and Lee Wetherington Homes through its Builder Program. The program gives homebuyers access to various architectural styles and customizable floor plans.

“This season, interest in The Founders Club has surpassed our expectations,” Melissa Dovey, sales executive at The Founders Club, says in a release.

Currently the builder’s in the program are busy constructing new homes, including:

  • Lee Wetherington Homes’ Turnberry custom model home features 4,199-square-feet of indoor living space, which will be ready later this year
  • Builder John Cannon Homes’ three-bedroom, three-bath Adelaide will offer more than 5,000 square feet with a gourmet kitchen and golf simulator room
  • AR Homes recently started construction on the 3,630-square-foot Annabel model

“I recently had a couple tell me they have best friends here, and they haven’t even closed yet,” Dovey says. “It really speaks to the welcoming spirit of The Founders Club and its friendly residents.”

The club recently completed a $600,000 renovation of the Robert Trent Jones Jr.-designed golf course. The course features a 7,094-yard, par 72 layout with updated bunkers and greens.
