Home on Siesta Key sells for $26 million

A newly constructed home on Siesta Key has sold for $26 million, according to Compass, which helped broker the deal. Adnan Dedic of Compass exclusively represented the seller of 3990 Higel Ave. in the transaction, which closed Sept. 28.

The 1.18-acre property was first listed in 2025 for $29,995,000. That means the sale price fetched nearly 87% of the asking price. 

Designed by DSDG Architects and built by Nutter Construction, the more than 13,000-square-foot home features five bedroom suites, a great room with floor-to-ceiling windows framing Gulf views and a gourmet kitchen with oversized island.

Outside are an infinity-edge pool, firepit, outdoor kitchen and multiple terraces.

A two-bedroom guest house also comes with the property, along with a private deeded 20,000-pound boat lift with Gulf access.

The seller — Charles Lomangino 2018 Irrevocable Trust — purchased the property in 2021 for $3.9 million before building the new home there. Charles Lomangino founded waste management company Southwest Waste in Fort Myers in 2021, which merged with Coastal Waste & Recycling of Boca Raton in 2024.

Sarasota County property records have not yet been updated to reflect the buyer of the Higel Avenue home.

The $26 million deal comes after the mid-September $21.95 million sale of another Siesta Key home: the estate at 8501 Midnight Pass Road.

Sarasota County's record-high residential home sale was a $30.3 million property on Longboat Key that sold in July 2025.
