A Bradenton-based construction company has broken ground on a new apartment complex in Manatee County. NDC Construction is building The Fields at SeaFlower, a 362-unit multifamily community in southwest Bradenton.
Sister company NDC Asset Management will provide property management for the new community, for which pre-leasing is expected to begin in summer 2027.
“We understand both what it takes to build a community and what it takes to operate and maintain it in perpetuity,” NDC’s Vice President of Business Operations Jason Bartz says in a statement. “That foresight helps us build with the long-term needs of the property and its residents in mind.”
The Fields at SeaFlower will include one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Among the amenities planned are a clubhouse with fitness center and yoga room, swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, pickleball courts, dog park and trailer parking for jet skis. Single-vehicle garages will be available for lease.
SeaFlower is a master-planned community in southwest Bradenton that when built out will include 4,000 homes; 600 apartments; 250 hotel rooms; and 350,000 square feet of office and retail space. Its first phase spans about 400 acres south of Cortez Road and west of 75th Street West and features homes, parks, trails and green spaces; the resident-only Garden Club amenity; and SeaFlower Village Center, a mixed-use destination anchored by Publix.
