Manatee Memorial opens freestanding ER in Parrish

A new freestanding emergency room has opened in north Manatee County, an extension of Manatee Memorial Hospital. Called Manatee ER at Harrison Ranch, the facility welcomed its first patient on Tuesday in Parrish.

Spanning 10,884 square feet, the ER includes a full-service laboratory; six exam rooms; three rapid medical spaces; and areas for X-ray, CT and ultrasound.

Manatee ER at Harrison Ranch is located at 10820 U.S. 301 N., about 10 miles from Manatee Memorial Hospital. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“North Manatee County is growing, and we’re seeing more families and businesses make this area their home,” Manatee Memorial Hospital Interim CEO Colin Weaver says in a statement. “With that growth comes a need for more access to healthcare, including emergency care."

The Parrish facility is the third freestanding ER for Manatee Memorial in the county. The hospital opened Manatee ER at Palma Sola in 2024 and Manatee ER at Bayshore Gardens in 2023. It also has an ER at Sun City Center in southern Hillsborough County that opened in 2022.

Nashville-based Batten Shaw Construction built Manatee ER at Harrison Ranch.
