From skyscrapers to seawalls, contracting companies in the region have been busy. The companies on this list, the Business Observer’s annual Top 50 Contractors, posted a cumulative $10.38 billion in revenue in 2025. 

As in past years, the Top 50 — companies self-submit information — is open to contractors in the Business Observer’s coverage area, from Polk County south through Collier County, from Lakeland to Tampa to Naples. Companies must be in some type of contracting field: electrical, general construction, roofing, HVAC, landscaping, plumbing and more.
