The Business Observer is looking for companies that have reimagined their workspace for a post-pandemic world.

After years of working remotely and hybrid home-to-office compromises, the real estate market shows more workers are coming back to office buildings across Tampa Bay.

The latest research from investment management firm Colliers shows office building vacancy in the Tampa Bay region has dipped to about 16% — below the national average of 18.6% — and more big name companies like Phillip Morris and NinjaOne are choosing to put down roots in the region, brokers report.

But the offices these companies are going back to are different than the offices of the pre-Covid era. We're talking pool tables and art galleries and yoga classes — and even free professional headshots.

If your company has reimagined, redesigned or otherwise reaffirmed your desire to go back to the office, we want to hear from you. We’re not looking for companies that have ditched the traditional office all together. We’re looking for the ones who have embraced it. The ones using innovative interior design and creative ideas in communal workplaces to create a culture of productivity and well-being among staff.

If this describes your company, and office, send a brief email to our Tampa Bay reporter Anastasia Dawson at [email protected] by July 1. Your company could be featured in a future story. (We are looking for organizations in our coverage area: Charlotte, Collier, Lee, Hillsborough, Lee, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota.)

Please include your company’s name, address and a contact phone number with your submission. Emails should include as much information as possible about the new amenities, offerings, or office redesigns implemented post-pandemic.
