The Fulfillment Lab, a Tampa-born technology and logistics company, has relocated its headquarters to Lutz in Pasco County, the company announced.

The e-commerce logistics provider, which specializes in proprietary fulfillment software, not only is expanding its operations but also invested more than $2 million in new equipment and racking systems, a release says, ensuring its new home can support both its logistics and fulfillment operations.

The Fulfillment Lab initially leased a 35,000-square-foot home in 2025 in the Sunlake Business Center, at Sunlake Boulevard and State Road 54 in Lutz, but has already expanded another 10,000 square feet since then, the release says.

“The Fulfillment Lab has always been driven by technology, and this expansion allows us to further develop our proprietary systems and bring smarter, more efficient fulfillment solutions to our clients,” Rick Nelson, founder and CEO of The Fulfillment Lab, says in the release. “Thanks to the compliance and regulatory support provided by Pasco County and Pasco EDC, we were able to secure our certificate of occupancy and serve our customers through the busy holiday season. We couldn't have gotten where we are today without their assistance.”

The Fulfillment Lab provides e-commerce logistics through its proprietary software platform, which integrates directly with platforms such as TikTok, Shopify and Amazon to provide end-to-end fulfillment and quality control solutions. The program allows online sellers to customize the customer experience in each stage of the process, from online ordering to delivery, the release says, all while providing real-time visibility into inventory and order processing.

Founded in Tampa in 2012, The Fulfillment Lab also has a location in Salt Lake City. The company’s decision to grow in Pasco County underscores the region’s ability to be a hub for advanced technology companies, says Bill Cronin, president and CEO of the Pasco Economic Development Council, in the release.

“Their proprietary software and integration capabilities set them apart in the fulfillment industry, and we’re proud to see this level of innovation happening right here in our community,” Cronin says in the release.
