Tom Brady is making another comeback.

This time the football legend is not headed back to the huddle to quarterback a team but to a role he seems better suited for at his age, 47: selling used cars.

Brady is once again working for Estero-based global car rental giant The Hertz Co. having been hired as a pitchman to promote Hertz Car Sales, the company’s used car division.

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback — who spent a portion of his career playing for a team in New England — first promoted the company in 2021 when it launched an ambitious electric car program.

Brady’s role in a new 30-second ad is to promote the company’s sales arm by giving away an autographed 2023 Cadillac XT5.

The ad includes includes inflatable air dancers swinging in the wind, bright graphics and Brady, who’s spending a big chunk of his latest retirement in front of a camera, playing the part of a used car salesman.

Hertz did not say if Brady's ad was a one-off or a long-term gig.

But what Executive Vice President of Hertz Car Sales Jeff Adam does say in a cliche and pun filled quote worthy of a used car commercial is that, “Tom Brady might be collecting jobs like he collected championship rings, but he's proving to be a genuine MVP in the used car game.”

Hertz Car Sales allows shoppers to look for a used vehicles either online or at one 40 retail locations — including one each in Tampa, Clearwater and Bonita Springs.

The company says in a statement that it offers “clear, upfront pricing” and that vehicles can be delivered to the buyer. The vehicles sold are certified meaning they’ve gone through a 115-point certification process and come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.
