SWFL personal injury law firm names co-managing partner

Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice, Purtz, Smith & Smith has offices in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Lehigh Acres and Port Charlotte.

Andrea Pleimling Smith has been named as co-managing partner of Fort Myers law firm Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice, Purtz, Smith & Smith. 

She will share the law firm’s leadership role with her husband, Christopher Smith, according to a statement. The announcement follows one from March when the firm promoted both spouses to partner level in the firm. Managing partners, the release states, “focus on short-term and long-term strategy, client relationships, fiscal and organizational management, business development and compliance issues.”

Pleimling Smith joined the firm in 2014 and became a partner in 2017. A Business Observer 40 under 40 winner in 2019, she manages the firm’s rapidly growing legal offices in Cape Coral and Port Charlotte. She represents clients in pre-lawsuit and litigation cases, and her areas of expertise include personal injury, wrongful death, motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, slip and falls and spinal cord injuries. “Goldstein Buckley has been Southwest Florida’s premier personal injury firm for more than 60 years, and it’s an honor and privilege to help lead the practice,” she says in the release. 

Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice, Purtz, Smith & Smith P.A was founded in 1962. Its areas of practice include personal injury and accidents, trip, slip and fall, premises liability, wrongful death, motorcycle and truck accidents, medical malpractice, wills and estate planning and administration. It has offices in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Lehigh Acres and Port Charlotte.
