Curious Jane, a Lakeland-based ad agency for franchise brands, recently announced five promotions, including a chief operating officer and a chief strategy officer — both first-time positions at the company.

Lisa Runyon has been named COO, and Gloria Burbano has been named chief strategy officer. “Lisa and Gloria are outstanding leaders who have helped take our agency to the next level,” Curious Jane President and CEO Lora Kellogg says in a statement. “Curious Jane has grown rapidly over the last three years and our organizational structure had to evolve to meet growing demands.”

Runyon, of Lakeland, joined Curious Jane a year ago as senior director of operations. Burbano, of Tampa, was senior director of client services. She joined Curious Jane in 2021, the release states.

Kellogg also announced three other promotions:

  • Jennifer Melton, formerly national account director, has been named director of client services. Melton, who recently celebrated her 10-year anniversary with Curious Jane, will supervise the agency’s national account executives.
  • Stephanie Reyes, formerly manager of customer lifecycle marketing, has been named senior manager of customer lifecycle marketing. Reyes joined the agency in 2021. The lifecycle marketing department, the release states, handles email marketing and CRM services for agency clients.
  • Arshia Ferdaus of Tampa was promoted to senior account executive after two years as an account executive.

Kellogg founded the company in 2003. Clients have included retailers such as Pearle Vision, Plato’s Closet and Pinch a Penny.
