Baltimore wealth management firm expands to Florida with acquisition

Naples-based wealth management firm Vantage Private Wealth has been acquired. 

The new owner, according to a statement, is Verdence Capital Advisors. Based in Hunt Valley, Maryland, outside Baltimore, and with a second office in Northern Virginia, Verdence will have over $3.4 billion in assets under management after the deal, the release adds. Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. 

Matthew Pietzak founded Vantage in 2017 after nearly two decades as a financial advisor and private banker. Prior to opening the doors of Vantage, Pietzak served as SVP, Senior Relationship Strategist at PNC Wealth Management and Senior Private Banker at Wells Fargo Private Bank. The Vantage team will now operate under the Verdence brand, the release states
