Coastal Precast of Florida, a Fort Myers-based manufacturer and distributor of sewer pipe and precast concrete products, has been acquired.

Newnan, Georgia-based Foley Products Co. bought Coastal, according to a statement. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Coastal’s facility, the release states, is 15 miles away from Foley’s existing pipe plant. At that plant Coastal’s products include storm catch basins, headwalls, junction boxes, sanitary lift stations, valve vaults and manholes.

“The addition of Coastal to our national network of plants will expand our presence in a high growing Florida market and provide our customers with a broader selection of storm, sanitary, retention, and specialty solutions,” Foley CEO Keith Haas says in the statement.

Foley, with 18 manufacturing locations in high growth markets nationwide, was founded in 1981. The company offers a range of products including reinforced concrete pipes, box culverts, precast concrete manholes, stormwater management systems and utility vaults for the underground utility and water management industry.
