FORT MYERS — Christopher Alan Homes reported 560 new home closings for 2021, more than double its tally of 275 closings from 2019.
In addition to the 103.63% increase in closings, the Fort Myers company, according to a statement, ranked No. 4 among builders in single-family residential permitted units in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties for August 2020 to July 2021.
The builder, according to the statement, is a premier production homebuilder that constructs homes priced from $269,990 to $450,000 across Southwest Florida. Its markets range from Fort Myers to North Port, and include Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres. Homes range in size from 1,200 to 2,500 square feet under air. It currently offers nine floor plans.

Christopher Alan Homes has its origins in another company, JHS Builders, which constructed house shells. In 2017, executives said the firm’s leadership started thinking about taking the process through to the completion of a house. The leadership of JHS formed Christopher Alan Homes. Naples-based Barron Collier Cos., which has holdings in real estate, agriculture and related services, is a part owner of Christopher Alan Homes. The company has sales centers in Cape Coral and Port Charlotte.
